Strategic Advice: The dungeon is unforgiving to lone wanderers. It is strongly recommended that you wait and recruit a full party of 5 heroes before embarking on a serious run. A balanced team is the key to surviving the deeper floors.

⚔️ 2. The Descent: Push Into the Shadows

Once your party is formed, it is time to face the depths. As your heroes defeat monsters, they will gain experience and level up. With each level, you earn valuable skill points and the strength to equip heavier gear.

The core loop is simple: dive in, push as far as you can, and retreat when your party falls. The deeper you go, the more gold and legendary loot you will discover. Use your spoils to enhance your equipment at the Blacksmith, buy Tavern upgrades, and plunge even further on your next attempt.

📜 3. Tags & Customization: Forging Your Playstyle

Your heroes are not bound by rigid, linear paths. Instead, every hero class is defined by exactly Three Tags (for example: Sword, Shield, Holy).

By clicking on a hero to open their Inspector, you can spend your hard-earned skill points in these distinct Tag Trees. Want a Healer who focuses purely on shielding? Or a Knight who specializes in Holy damage? Mix and match points across their three tags to deeply customize their role in combat and synergize with the rest of your party.

⏳ 4. The Unsleeping Guild: Offline Progression

A true guildmaster knows that the grind never truly stops. DDDungeon features robust offline progression. When you close the game, your active party continues their main Dungeon run, fighting monsters, earning gold, and collecting loot while you are away.

What about the heroes resting in the tavern? Your benched (inactive) heroes aren't just drinking ale—they can be sent on specialized Expeditions to gather even more resources, ensuring that your entire roster is always working to expand your empire.
